McLaren Flint is a 378 bed tertiary teaching facility located in Flint, Michigan, serving the medical needs of residents in greater Genesee County and mideast Michigan. McLaren Flint is affiliated with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in its medical residency programs including family practice, internal medicine, general surgery, orthopedic surgery and radiology. McLaren Flint also maintains vascular surgery and health psychology fellowship programs in partnership with Michigan State University.

The Flint Community Counter-Narrative Project is an ongoing oral history of the Flint Water Crisis created in collaboration with the Flint Community at-large, Community Based Organization Partners (CBOP), and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, Public Health in Flint, MI.
The goal of the counter-narrative project is to keep an ongoing oral history about the Flint Water Crisis from Flint residents, sharing their experiences with the world at-large. The unfolding oral history captures a community timeline and constructs the knowledge and response of the community to life before and during the lead-poisoning crisis.
